The way the municipal education system will work is by connecting everyone (anyone, any age, any time, any place) in the community with resources, education, and hands-on training by other members who specialize in different areas of business, education, and trade. This new municipal education system is for all ages to promote lifelong learning, build upon intrinsic motivation, increase jobs, and connect everyone in the local area as active community citizens through a variety of educational and occupational experiences. To make this happen, G.A.L.S. will create an online platform for a community mentorship and internship program. Our goal is to guide big and small businesses in creating flexible schedules that will give the community a chance to see how they function, educate those who are interested in observing, and train those who are interested in interning. 

Specific activities we will conduct – create a space for community businesses to offer mentors that will work with all ages (youth-observational activities, adults-internship activities) in the local area, who will offer times and locations for community members to observe and interim for businesses of their choice 

When or how often the activities occur – flexible dates and times will be created to support the community

How the activities further our exempt purpose – helping people in the community experience different educational and occupational opportunities throughout their lifetime
